NotchCad

Facade breakdown

Give the elevation size and the bay/storey grid. NotchCad deducts the joints, numbers every panel and hands you a schedule you can send straight into Batch.

Elevation

joints deducted from the panel size

What this does

Bay = (overall − (bays−1) × joint) ÷ bays. Panel = bay − frame allowance − 2 × panel tolerance. The closing joint is what the gap really becomes when the frame and the panel both run out — the number that decides whether the reveal survives. Every panel gets an ID: row letter + bay number, so A1 is bottom-left and C6 top-right — the order the installer hangs them.

Openings (windows, doors) are not subtracted yet — that is the next build, with DXF elevation import. For now model a facade as full bays, or split the schedule by hand.
